Wow time does fly. James and I are still in Nashville. Our 2 dauthers are also here, but our son lives in Charleston. We are both retired and currently have 7 grandchildren ranging in age from 14 years to 2 months. So I spend as much time with my children and grandchildren as possible. Not an exciting life but I love it.

Some sad news to share........Marcia Dozier (Frame) is no longer with us.  Here's the obit:

--------------------------------

Marcia Fay Frame, 62, of Pensacola, took the hand of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 09, 2014 following a valiant fight against cancer. During her life she shared her love for Jesus and the story of the gospel to all along her life's journey.

Marcia was born November 08, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee to John Thomas Dozier and Martha Shackelford Dozier. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church. Marcia was a gifted teacher, inspiring students at East Hill Christian School, Tate High School and Pensacola State College. After retiring from teaching, Marcia worked as an RN, providing ultrasounds in her passion to save the unborn, at Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center. She had a brilliant mind, earning a Master's of Science in Education and a Master's of Science in Marine Biology. Marcia had a great love for the ocean, scuba diving and marine life. Her favorite dive sites were in the Florida Keys.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Steven A. Frame of Pensacola; sons, Jeffrey Frame and Scott Frame of Pensacola; daughter, Laura Valade and husband Scott of Pensacola; her parents, John T. Dozier and Martha S. Dozier of Memphis, TN; brother, Mark Dozier of Richmond, VA; and four grandchildren. Her 5th grandchild is due in May. Though she longed to hold him, she did get to see him via ultrasound.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014 at Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Rollwagen officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center would be appreciated. Their address is 813 E. Gadsden St. Pensacola, FL 32501. www.916safe.org

It\'s great to see so many of my friends from Central...I went to Rhodes College (Southwestern at the time), served in the marine corps for five years as an infantry officer, then entered the foreign service as a Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service.  I retired and live in Northern Virginia, and now am a consultant at the State Department.
